How We Help

When the job gets to you, blowing off steam with a coworker or loved one is often all you need to refocus and move on.  But when the issues run deeper, Worker2Worker is ready to help you and your family cope with and resolve your problems. Our peer-support counselors and clinicians understand, listen and want to help.

If you are feeling depressed, helpless, overwhelmed, weak, withdrawn, suicidal, financially drained, or emotionally or physically exhausted from a highly stressful situation, reach out for assistance: 1-855-DCPP-4-U-2 (1-855-327-7482).

Been there done that! Former DCP&P workers understand the stresses of current DCP&P workers. That’s why we started the helpline. The Worker2Worker helpline, 1-855-DCPP-4-U-2, is staffed by retired DCP&P employees who have been trained as peer counselors and specially trained mental health professionals.
When you call the confidential Worker2Worker helpline, you receive immediate access to these services:

  • Peer and Clinical Support Services provided from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week by retired DCP&P employees who are trained as peer supporters and by specially trained mental health professionals. If you want to vent to a peer who knows what you’re going through, Worker2Worker staff are ready to help.
  • Clinical Assessments are available for mild to severe problems and are performed by an experienced professional counselor, who can recommend additional treatment and follow-up with a vast network of professional resources throughout the state. Not sure how to handle a problem, or believe a custom-designed clinical assessment could help you? Call the Worker2Worker helpline to discuss your situation with a trained professional.
  • Referrals to one of our Network Providers trained to treat the unique needs of DCP&P employees. Treatment and services are provided to help with family therapy, medication for depression, detoxification or anything else you may require to be healthy and “back to yourself again.”

Our focus is always to maintain your confidentiality.
